Important Shipping Update for US Customers

A little note for my US customers: for the moment I’ve had to suspend shipping to the United States. This is due to a recent change in US customs regulations, where the de minimis exclusion for importing goods has been revoked.
This means that parcels coming from the UK may now be subject to a flat $80 fee on arrival, as well as customs duties and taxes before you can receive your order. I don’t want anyone to face unexpected costs at the door, so I feel it’s fairest to pause US orders until the situation becomes clearer.
The good news is that this is a developing situation, and I truly hope to reopen US shipping in the near future.
In the meantime, if you’d like to read more about the changes, you can find updates here:
Looking ahead, it seems that orders to the US will require duties and fees to be paid upfront by the customer. At present, I don’t have these costs built into my shipping prices, so I’ve chosen to keep shipping paused until the situation improves. However I am happy to provide custom quotes to any US customers who may wish to place an order while shipping is paused.
In more hopeful news, current reports suggest that future fees could be reduced to around 15% of the order value plus handling charges at some point next year - still significant, but a vast improvement on the flat $80 charge in place now. My hope is that full clarity will come next year, making it easier (and fairer) to resume shipping to the US once again.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding - it means the world. Stylecamp has always been about sharing timeless, handmade style far and wide, and I look forward to sending parcels Stateside again soon.
